Hi top team!

Hope you're all well and had a great bank holiday!

We've got the team and some very talented no credit spares!

Unfortunately "rules is rules" and we can only have 5 official members... (we have 6 at the mo' so will have to sort something, but the more uncredited "will-do's" the better!)

So, we need a meet up and a skills check.

A.S.A.P. Can you all email me at scriptwriter@post.com with:

1/ Your skill and team role

2/ Your equipment, if any, that you actually HAVE, i.e. camera, sound, editing gear, lights etc

3/ your personal transport, i.e. car/pushbike/none

4/ area you live, ie Southsea, Fareham, Andover, Arundel...

5/ availability for a dedicated meeting and dry run film. Please note the dry run film will not be a 48hr marathon, merely a short piece to test/hone our skill levels/equipment/team spirit. I'll pull 3 dates from this availability matrix and the majority vote will be the winning date.

6/ any concerns, team ideas etc

7/ any unusual easily transported/assembled item we might be able to "work into" the 48hr challenge film, baring in mind we don't know the genre etc yet

8/ Your yes/no/maybe thoughts to possibly working together on another project if we gel well on this one. Don't worry a "no" will not go against anyone, I only asked to plant the thought seed....

9/ Any member going to the short script workshop on wed 9th Sept - could you stay behind for 1/4 hr or so for a 2Scribes meet?

To recap here's the rules and techie bits:-

We can have 5 Official members - but that DOESN'T include actors/runers etc so we should be ok.

Are you posting about your Plinth gig?

Rules

*All team members must be 16 or older. (Additional actors can be any age)

*Each team must have no more than 5 official members. (This does not include family, friends, actors, runners, helpers and hangers on.) Each team will be allocated 10 FREE tickets for the premier night (to include team members). Additional tickets can be purchased in advance at a discounted rate from the New Theatre Royal box office.

*You must fill an application form and return it to DV-MISSION-09 by October 2nd 2009. As places are limited to 25 teams, we are working on a first come first serve basis. A reserve list will be held.

*Your film must be returned in person by 6:00pm on Sunday the 1st November 2009 to the finish line (New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth). It must be on DVD or USB Stick as a Data File. We accept PAL AVI (PC users) and PAL QuickTime (Mac users). We prefer 16:9 ratio (wide screen) but we will accept 4:3 (standard). You can test your media by downloading VLC Media Player (www.videolan.org). This is a free open source cross platform media player, which we will use to screen your films. If your media does not play in VLC, we will not be able to screen it. We also recommend you bring a Mini DV tape with your film on it as a back up. The file must be clearly labelled with the name of the team.

More talented peeps wanna join. I'll have to collate info on skills/equipt etc next week to see where we are going...

I think we have an editor, but no editing equipment or software...
