Hi Anne,
Looking forward to seeing you again on Wednesday, please see my latest posts to the scripts forum for a version of your piece as pdf, and also of the three other writer's pieces. If you accept my invite as 'friend' (how coy!) you'll be able to email me back direct to confirm you'll be attending on Wednesday and that you've successfully downloaded the other three files.
thank you, Christina
Hiya Anne, thanks for the shooting people info.
I think if you click on the group and then there is a link you click on that says join group but I'm not so sure myself now!. Alex has done it recently so if you get stuck just ask him.
Hi Anne, I see you are not joined the screenwriters group yet so I sent you this separately, please see below:
Hi everyone,
Good to meet you all last week. Thanks for writing it up Christina.
Just thought I'd recommend a few websites/blogs for anyone who's interested: John August, twelvepoint, writers guild, scriptsavvy, BBC writersroom(obvious one there!). Some of these have a subscription fee, like twelvepoint for example but it does give you industry leads via inktip that you can apply to. Some of these sites can be imense in their advice and a bit overwhelming(ie, you end up reading about writing and not writing which is no good!) but are great to pull what you need/want from them and twelvepoint keeps you up to date with the industry itself.
I was wondering if I could have the link or more info about the digital screen funding that we were talking about. It seemed you could go to them with a script and potentially get funding to make a short film? is this right? I would love to have any info on stuff like that thanks.
Also, William Goldman is on south bank show tonight, could prove interesting.
best wishes everyone, see you soon, Louise Delete Comment
