Mission Briefing Important Announcement

First of all a reminder about this years Mission briefing at the Omega Centre from 11am to 4.30pm this Friday. The event is free and open to all DV Mission challengers. We have a number of industry professionals attending to host workshop groups on editing, sound, story, directing, lighting and camera.

You may be aware that this year we also have sponsorship from the 'Studio at the Granary' who have offered the use of their facilties at a bargin rate of £25 an hour with white, black or green screen backgrounds, lights and technical support. As this is an exceptional one off using the studio WILL NOT effect your status as a Lo-tech or Pro-tech team and is available to everyone in the challenge. To book a slot you need to contact us (Jinx or Roy) and let us know on Friday (more info on this at the Mission briefing).

Shooting People have offered prizes to this years award winners including free membership and a discounted membership for all challengers.

Finally we have also been lucky enough to receive sponsorship from Media Matters Technology who will be providing USB sticks and DVD duplication services to this years challenge. This means that we will be producing a DVD of all the films shortly after the event finishes so contact us if you want a copy in the next few weeks.

This years challenge is warming up to be an excellent weekend of filmmaking and an amazing evening for the premier. I personally am really looking forward to seeing all of your films.
